Nanjing, May 14–16, 2026. From May 14 to 16, 2026, the 25th China Biological Products Conference (CBioPC2026) was held at the Nanjing International Expo Center. With the theme "High-Quality Development of the Biopharmaceutical Industry," the conference brought together over 6,000 experts, scholars, and corporate representatives from both domestic and international biopharmaceutical sectors.

As a China-owned CRO enterprise deeply rooted in Kenya, Sinopharm East Africa Limited (China Pharmaceutical East Africa Co., Ltd.) established a display booth in the conference exhibition area to showcase its capabilities in clinical research, product registration, and market-access services in East Africa. The booth drew a steady stream of pharmaceutical company representatives keen on entering the African market, who engaged in discussions on Kenya's and East Africa's pharmaceutical regulatory frameworks, clinical trial landscapes, and potential for local partnership.

During the exhibition, the company's team held preliminary meetings with multiple vaccine and biopharmaceutical companies, focusing on exploring collaboration possibilities such as vaccine clinical research and biosimilar registration in East Africa. This participation marked a significant debut of the company before the domestic biopharmaceutical industry, aiming to build a bridge for China-Africa pharmaceutical cooperation.

Moving forward, the company will continue to leverage its long-standing local resources and compliance expertise in Kenya to provide professional and efficient East African market-access solutions for domestic biopharmaceutical enterprises.
